Who is Jim Roberts?
A five-time Stanley Cup Winner Jim Roberts was a Participant for St. Louis Blues. He had been an ice hockey defenceman and forwards who played with 1,000 matches during his 14-year NHL profession.
Early Life and CareerJames Wilfred “Jimmy” Roberts only called Jimmy or Jim was created on April 9, 1940, in Toronto, Canada. Roberts started his career with Montreal Royals, a little league team in 1959. Prior to this, he performed OHA junior Peterborough Petes under coach Scotty Bowman. He played Montreal for many seasons. In 1967’s NHL Expansion Draft Jim became the initial Choice of this St. Louis Blues. Then he looked in 15 regular matches along with his strong performance in every registering dozen or more objects in his four full seasons. Then he got an chance to function as head trainer of Hartford Whalers finally. He also joined the Worcester IceCats as a coach and general manager. In addition, he coached the St. Louise parent team from 1996-2000.
While he had been quite common in his young days, Jim was able to maintain his personal information under wraps. He may have made a couple of girlfriends and engaged in love affairs, but information about his connection never arose in the media. His connection standing was a major question mark along with his solitude stays hidden indefinitely following his supernatural death. Death Roberts confronted a painful death on October 23, 2015. The disorder was diagnosed just a week before his departure. He had been in his 70’s in the moment. On October 27, 2015, in his honour, the St. Louis Blues announced they’d wear helmet stickers for the house stand which read “JR” at the lower left corner of this helmet.
