Feek started playing guitar since age 15, after he served two tours of duty from the United States Marine Corps after high school. Back in 1995he moved to Nashville, Tennessee after being invited to by Nashville entertainment lawyer Rod Phelps, also signed up to a publishing arrangement.

Rory Lee Feek published his first as a songwriter has been Collin Raye’s “Someone You Used to Know”. He continued to compose for different musicians at the 2000s such as record tracks for Mark Wills, Kenny Chesney, Terri Clark and far more.

Personal Life

Rory Lee Feek was formerly married to Tamara Gilmer at 1985 but that the couple didn’t last their union relationship and they finished their relationship 1992. Feek includes two brothers, Heidi, born 1986 and Hopie, born 1988. Following divorce with his first wife, he climbed to Joey Martin Feek in 2002 however Joey died of esophageal lung cancer March 4, 2016. They have one child called, Indiana Boon who had been born February 17, 2014; she had been born with Down Syndrome.
